During the conference, the organizing committee will rely on student volunteers. The volunteers' missions will be diverse: setting up the conference venues, welcoming participants to the conference and to the events, supervising the sessions, monitoring the technical aspects during the sessions, accompanying people with reduced mobility, managing coffee breaks...
As a volunteer, you will be able to access the conference without paying registration fees. IGU is looking for geography students who might be interested in attending the conference, yet we do not restrict volunteering to geography.
Ideally, volunteers should be available during the entire week of the conference, starting from the day before the conference opens, i.e. from Sunday 17 to Friday 22 July 2022
. It will also be possible to participate for a period of three days (from Sunday 17 to Tuesday 19 July or from Wednesday 20 to Friday 22 July).
October 1, 2021 – January 31, 2022: registration of volunteers on the congress website
February-March 2022: selection of volunteers and notification by email
April-May 2022: organisation of schedule
