Getting to Paris from Paris airports
From
Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport
- RER B southbound towards Massy-Palaiseau, Robinson or Saint-Rémy Lès-Chevreuse. All the trains call at the stations situated in Paris downtown (Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, Luxembourg, Denfert-Rochereau, Cité Universitaire). The conference venues are close to the Luxembourg station; the journey takes about one hour.
- Roissy Bus to Opéra, the journey takes about one hour and fifteen minutes. You are advised to take your ticket prior to getting on the bus (tickets can be purchased in the bus, but only with credit card and with contactless payment).
From
Paris-Orly airport
- OrlyVal Shuttle to Antony, then take the RER B northbound towards Aéroport Charles de Gaulle or Mitry-Claye. All the trains call at the stations situated in Paris downtown (Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, Luxembourg, Denfert-Rochereau, Cité Universitaire). The conference venues are close to the Luxembourg station; the journey takes about 45 minutes. Caution: you need to different tickets: one for Orlyval and one for the RER B, both can be bought in advance or at the station.
- Orly Bus to square Denfert-Rochereau, the journey takes about 30 minutes.
The Parisian transportation system is fairly dense and offers numerous interconnexions to easily reach the congress venues and the various meeting points for the organised excursions. The Parisian transport organization (RATP) offers various types of transportation card, which are summarised here:

However, prices may vary depending on the reservation terms (deadlines, dates...) and the commercial practices of the establishments. Categories A correspond to student residences, youth hostels or rooms without private bathroom. Categories B and higher are hotels, with B being the least expensive and D the most expensive.
