Travel grants will be awarded on a competitive basis to help defray the costs of participation in the 2022 IGU Centennial Congress, 18-22 July 2022 in Paris, France. See this page more information: https://igu-online.org/call-paris-igu-travel-grant-2022-out/#
The IGU Travel Grants provide only a partial contribution to registration transport, and accommodation (maximum of US$1000 per successful candidates).
In selecting applicants to receive awards, preference will be given to early career scholars, in particular to those from developing countries, but grants are available for more senior scholars, for example session organizers or steering committee members from low income countries who are not able to find funding. Because the funds available for this awards program are limited, all applicants will be required to find the balance of the costs of participation; applications for 100% support cannot be funded.
