In Georgetown the COVID pandemic had a differential impact on the GenUrb research. Attempts to turn to digitally based research were unsuccessful and the members of the research team resorted to going back to face to face interviews in outdoor venues. In this presentation we discuss the impacts on the pandemic on knowledge production and issues of trust and care in the research process.
