The role of dams is to retain a water reserve for multiple uses: irrigation water supply, energy supply, etc. … These books present important public safety issues at the national level, because their breakdown would have catastrophic consequences, but in terms of the economy of the installations since the strategy of Morocco to ensure the availability this first material of life is the construction of the dams. Due to the high cost of downtime and maintenance work. Therefore, the expected functions of dams, structural stability and watertightness, must be controlled in real time to ensure public safety and operating economy.
Ageing processes can in the long run alter the essential functions of stability and tightness, but also affect operating conditions. The possible causes of this aging are multiple, physical, chemical or biological. It is important to identify these ageing processes as early as possible and to diagnose their level of severity and harmfulness on the basis of setting up a real-time big data analytics system, for the analysis of the data received from connected objects installed at the level of the dams and also a prediction system at the base of the old and new measurements.
in this work, we will present a conceptual architecture of Big data analytics system to monitor dam data in real-time.
