Digital nomads are those who choose to adopt a location-independent, technology-enabled lifestyle that allows them to travel and work remotely anywhere in the internet-connected world. Digital nomadism is obsessed with considerable social changes, such as the omnipresence of mobility and technology in everyday life. The trends of digital nomads have undergone major changes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The biggest change is that old-style job pursuers have been removed from their offices and many are coming to the streets instead of staying in one place. In 2020, the numbers of digital nomads who are independent workers such as freelancers, independent servicers have been increased. The culture of digital nomadism has slowly become popular in developing countries such as India in the present times. This research paper defines the rapidly evolving mobile lifestyle of digital nomads in the context of Udaipur city. This city of India is one such destination that is experiencing this trend due to tourism, reliable internet connection, good weather, and low cost of living. Despite the increasing prevalence of this trend, there is a lack of general understanding and overall reading on this development in India. The emerging literature on digital nomads is fragmented and scattered through various themes and perspectives. Therefore using in-depth group discussions and interviews, the paper suggests a conceptual fixation of digital nomadism within the lifestyle dynamics of the people of Udaipur. Thus, the paper also defines various aspects and directions for additional concepts of development in global mobility.
