This work aims to map the occurrence of LGBTQIAP+ marches in the Brazilian territory and contrast this information with the urban phenomenon through the classifications of metropolitan regions, populational arrangements and urban hierarchy. We carried out a brief bibliographical review on parties and their political activities, proposing their classification according to the political spectrum and linking them to psychosocial aspects. We also elaborated maps to facilitate the comprehension of the territoriality of the LGBTQIAP+ parades. Despite the visibility given to them, in only 4.11% of Brazilian municipalities this type of protest occurs. This allows us to ask whether the entire discussion serves only as a smokescreen and a pretext to deny fundamental rights to this social group, since they are socially hidden/erased - there are few statistics related to this population. The denial of rights also allows us to think about if evangelicals have been used as scapegoats for a large part of the population, since there is considerable overrepresentation in the Federal Chamber of this religious group, very often noisy and fanatic but still a minority among the Brazilian population. In relation to the urban phenomenon, it is not possible to establish a direct connection between metropolitan regions and the occurrence of parades, once there are political aberrations in the definition by state parliaments of these regions. Regarding populational arrangements, 54% of the total municipalities with LGBTQIA+ parades are in some populational arrangement, regardless of urban hierarchy. Furthermore, of the 229 municipalities with this type of protest, only 15% belong to hierarchy 5, the lowest provided for in REGIC 2018, whereas 74% of Brazilian municipalities are classified in this way.
