Abstract
Food security is an important issue in developing countries like Pakistan. Around 60% of population faces Food insecurity due to limited food access affecting mainly women and children. 15% of under 5 years children suffer from acute malnutrition and 44% are stunted, (WFO, 2018). Concerning this issue, we aim here to explain why food security is decreasing in Pakistan? This study is oriented by two hypothesis: First hypothesis, economic factores such as income and food production. Secound hypothesis, social factores such as education and family structure. Through comparative and integrated analysis of the variables and its respective indicators, we will use random sampling technique to collect data from sample households in Pakistan through a constructed questioner, interviews, observation and focus group discussion. Secondary data were obtained from journal, books, internet and relevant departments like Revenue&Agriculture crops annual production, yield per hectare.Population census organisation: population and household related data. Than the collected data will be analysed through statistical methods. The expected finding we explain The Decreasing Situation of food security in Pakistan the period of last Ten years. And to develop strategies that improve food security.
