For millennia geographers attempted to divide places in the world into regions. The division is, always, based on physical or socioeconomic features. In recent days, development as a socioeconomic feature become the dominant despite its judgmental implication on the future of nations. The most widely used development measure, today, is its level as achieved by a particular place at a given time, regardless of the strength exerted overtime. This work employ time series-HDI data and apply on it the mathematical model, Function Analysis, to compute development power of countries and regions, so as to denote a new index that will be used to regionalize places according to their development amplitude.
